This is our favorite salad. Â It’s delicious. Â It’s amazing. Â It has bacon.
If you’re following the Trim Healthy Mama plan, this is an S – Satisfying meal.  If you’re not following THM, I urge you to make this salad.  Even Mark likes it.
Gwen’s homemade ranch dressing is perfect for you “from scratch” cooks. Â If you’re not a purist, you can buy a good quality ranch.
Bacon Cheeseburger Salad
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 tsp. Lawry’s Seasoned Salt
- lettuce
- ranch dressing
- Toppings:  bacon (fried and chopped), pickles (chopped), shredded cheese, fried potatoes (with more seasoned salt), diced tomatoes, onions, avocado, jalapeños, or anything else you like to add to a cheeseburger
Fry the ground beef with 1/4 tsp. season salt. Â Cook thoroughly and set aside. Â In a bed of lettuce, layer your cooked beef, cheese and toppings.
A few notes…
Fried Potatoes. Â They are delicious and I highly recommend adding them to the salad IF your eating plan allows. Â If you’re following Trim Healthy Mama, those potatoes push you over to CrossOver mode. Â If you don’t follow this particular eating plan, add em. Â They sound weird but are really good. Â I just fry my cubed up potatoes in lots of butter and seasoned salt. Â Crispy edges. Â Yum!
Since eating THM style, I’ve omitted the potatoes from my Bacon Cheeseburger Salad. Â It’s still yummy but you better bet I’m adding potatoes to my salad once I’m on maintenance mode.
The pickles aren’t optional. Â Neither is the bacon.
We make our salads individually so we can have our preferred toppings. Â It ends up looking more like a Cheeseburger bar.
Did I miss any toppings? I’d love to know what  you like to add to your burger.

Seeing as how I have a love of all things Cheeseburger, you can bet this is going to be on my meal plan for the week. 😉
