How to Make and Peel Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs

Previously, I shared our method for cooking hard-boiled eggs.  This is my method for how to make and peel hard boiled eggs from start to finish.  They are so easy to peel, they literally SLIP out of the shell.  Today I’m offering up the entire process through video.

If you missed my post on how to make hard-boiled eggs that peel easily, you can read the instructions by clicking that link above.

In case you missed it in the video, here is a quick explanation of the peeling method…

  1. Let eggs sit in the hot water or at least 10 minutes.
  2. After 10 minutes (or more), dump hot water and add cold water, let cool until you are able handle them.
  3. Lightly crack the egg on the counter and roll it along while applying a little pressure.  (this will create tiny cracks all the way around the egg)
  4. Using the side of your thumb, peel the peel off.

So whatcha think?  Have you tried it?
