I like your review and am a little confused, you say “GenieMatch score of 50” for not having water and sewer at the site, in the blurb of JollyRogers it lists full hook ups with 30amp, water & sewer. Wondering if you can share a little more ?

Thank you for your comment, Dan. You are correct on the description of the campground! I hadn’t noticed it at the time of the writing of the post. Your comment got me curious as to why the GenieMatch was only 50. I incorrectly assumed it was due to the amenities icon view which showed no electrical, (though it does show water and sewer).

I did a little digging on the campground to see if I could get to the bottom of why the GenieMatch score would be so low when only the icons seemed to suggest it wasn’t a good fit for us. When I chatted with AdventureGenie, we discussed how they score campgrounds. The match score is based off of your preferences and data pulled from various online reviews. I also found a report from Yelp.com that stated the campground was shut down.

I’m not 100% sure why the low score other than the online data/presence of the campground is not very solid. Sorry but that is my best guess. Thank you again for the heads up on the conflicting info I shared for that campground. I’ll update the post with some additional information.
